Scrappy Kimberly says: Why do I consider this woman Scrappy? ENERGY! If you’re going to achieve seemingly impossible results, you can’t drag yourself slug-like through the day, slumping in your chair and propping your eyelids open with toothpicks. Lethargic people don’t get much done, and are unlikely to inspire scrappy people to do anything besides flee from their presence. Betty Jo Waxman could power a small village simply by hooking electrodes to her earlobes.

Author – Betty Jo Waxman, Scrappy Independent Consultant, Personal & Professional Development Trainer, and Lively Workshop Facilitator

I work around the globe as an independent consultant delivering experiential workshops in the areas of leadership, communication, business, relationships, and self-awareness. My primary business is as a Senior Trainer for Productive Learning & Leisure, where I’ve been building this company alongside the founders for 26 years. My style of interacting with people makes it safe for them to discover and learn. I’m passionate about my work, and dedicated to providing high value and making a positive difference in the lives of the participants in my programs. I live in San Rafael, California, with my husband Richard and our two children, Jordan and Rebecca. My hobbies include CrossFit training and “adventure travel.” My burning desire is to live life with no regrets—I’m going to look back and shout “Wahooo!”

“You must do the thing you think you cannot do.” – Eleanor Roosevelt, American Humanitarian and First Lady
